Goal Setting
Students set personal learning goals and revisit them regularly, building self-awareness and a habit of reflection from an early age.
Foundation to Year 6
Guided by our vision of "Connecting to Self, School, Community and Environment," we provide engaging, personalised learning that nurtures curiosity, creativity and confidence. We deliver the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 from Foundation (Prep) to Year 6, taught in small, often multi-age classes so every child's learning is paced to them personally.
At Carra, the child is truly at the centre. That belief shapes every lesson, every conversation and every goal we set together.

A pillar of our approach
Students learn best when they have a genuine say in their learning. Student Voice and Agency are embedded throughout our curriculum. Students set goals, reflect on their progress, share ideas and contribute to decisions about how the school runs.
Through leadership opportunities, collaborative learning, goal setting and meaningful feedback, our students learn to advocate for themselves and take real ownership of their learning journey. As a small school, every student's voice matters.
Students set personal learning goals and revisit them regularly, building self-awareness and a habit of reflection from an early age.
From classroom roles to whole-school initiatives, every student has the chance to lead, contribute and make a difference.
Working together across year levels, students develop communication, empathy and the ability to learn from one another.

A highlight of our programme
Music is more than songs or instruments. It is a powerful tool for learning, wellbeing and growth. Research links music education to cognitive development, including memory, attention, language and problem-solving, as well as to social and emotional development: confidence, creativity, resilience, teamwork and a sense of belonging.
Our music programme lets students sing, play, create, perform and appreciate music from a range of cultures, helping every child discover their unique voice. We believe music is an essential part of educating the whole child, and we are proud to make it a priority here at Carra.
Questions about how your child would learn here? We'd love to talk, or better yet, show you around. Book a tour or get in touch via our enrolment page.
