STAFF AND CLASSES 2024
Two classrooms operate at Carraragarmungee Primary School, Foundation to Year Two and Year Three to Year 6.
Foundation to Year 2 is the domain of Thomas O’Hehir, who also teaches social-emotional learning, mindfulness, wellbeing and Physical Education.
Stacey Thomas teaches our Year 3-6 class and encourages students to express themselves while teaching Performing Arts.
Deb Deveson and Michael Smith are our Education Support Staff members who assist individual and small group learning across our school for those students who require extra support.
Scott Dodgshun is our awesome Business Manager for three days per fortnight.
Marie De Prada is our wonderful school principle who works tirelessly to bring new initiatives and fantastic programs for both staff and students into the school.
Staff at our school work collaboratively to make sure all our students are learning to their full potential, at their individual point of learning need. Learning and Teaching Programs encourage and promote a love of life long learning using researched and current best practice.
Our teachers engage in continuous and rigorous Professional Learning to build their capacity toward Excellence in Teaching and Learning. We work as a Professional Learning Community with nearby schools as part of the Ovens Learning Community. Our major focus is to use researched best practice to improve learning for all our students.
