CARRA NEWS 20 JULY

Welcome back to Term 3, we hope everyone enjoyed their break.

We are set for another busy term of learning and activity.

This Friday we will be travelling to the station at Tarrawingee to plant trees and the following Friday we will be planting at Eldorado Dredge as part of the Connect with Nature program and National Tree Day.

Our excursion to Scienceworks and the Neighborhood Earth Exhibition will take place on 11th August. Please see all the information regarding this excursion further in this newsletter.

All our talented students and families are encouraged to support Everton PS on the 19th August at ‘Everton’s Got Talent’. Entries are open to all and an entry form is attached to the newsletter.

The conversion of the old portable is well underway. Plastering, painting and a new floor are being completed in coming weeks and will will transform this into a great new space for our school. Thanks to everyone who has helped.

Covid continues to pose a challenge for all communities. Please see a copy of the latest advice to schools on the last page of this newsletter. Please continue to monitor for symptoms and take the relevant precautions. We have a supply of RATs available that can be collected from the office.
